A 3.2 kW rooftop solar power system is a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) solution designed for residential and small commercial applications. The system typically consists of 8–10 high-efficiency solar panels (depending on panel wattage), a solar inverter, mounting structures, DC and AC protection devices, and associated wiring.
The solar panels are installed on the rooftop to capture sunlight and convert it into direct current (DC) electricity. This DC power is then converted into usable alternating current (AC) by the inverter, which supplies electricity to household or commercial loads. Any excess energy generated during the day can be exported to the utility grid through a net metering arrangement, helping reduce electricity bills.
